The Big Game is this weekend and no matter who you are rooting for, good eats at any football gathering is a must! While Bristol Farms offers endless options for delicious, quick, and easy game-time snacks, we know there are a good majority of you that really like to get down and dirty in the kitchen and these kid-friendly recipes for game-day gatherings are perfect if you have a kiddo who is itching to help you in the kitchen, or for anyone who wants to make some easy snacks.
We visited Grace-Marie’s Kitchen – the Cooking School at Bristol Farms, this last weekend for a “Kids in the Kitchen” class session on “Touchdown Recipes!” It was great to see the kids’ enthusiasm in participating in the recipes, learning kitchen techniques, and having a passion for food. The kids were separated into two intimate groups, each with a dedicated instructor to get up close and personal demonstrations on the recipe preparation and the kids managed a personal work station to assist in the recipe.
The environment of the class was very fair to every one of the eager kids who each had the opportunity to dice, measure, pour, and stir the ingredients for the recipes. If some of the kids didn’t get a chance to handle a particular ingredient, they spoke up! We thoroughly enjoyed watching them work with each other very patiently and respectfully. Needless to say, their teamwork resulted in a delicious game day menu that anyone is sure to enjoy!
Below are the recipe links for the “Big Game Recipes.” We hope you have just as much fun making these recipes for your game festivities this weekend.
