Our Best‑Loved Products for Mother's Day

posted on May 1st, 2015 by Kim Kaczor-Wardlow

Mother’s Day is quickly approaching, and while you will most likely spoil mom with great food from Bristol Farms, we encourage you to also browse our kitchens department for some very fun, unique, and pampering gifts for mom. Here are some of my favorite gifts for the upcoming holiday, some of which are new to Bristol Farms:

second handSecond Nature by Hand

Second Nature by Hand is a small artisan business specializing in unique, handmade products. Much of what they create originates from salvaged and reclaimed materials.

Somehow, the hobby they love has turned into a growing business for their family. There is something special about handmade work – handmade treasures contain soul, character, and a story. The Second Nature by Hand story began about 15 years ago after creating their first pieces in the garage and taking them to a local art fair. The early years were spent at art shows where they discovered, first-hand, the excitement people felt toward the handmade work. Since those early days of working until the wee hours out of their garage, they have expanded the designs and production and now offer work to trusted retailers around the country.

Bristol Farms is proud to partner with a company that produces all of their products in the Midwest to keep jobs, resources, and money where they should be…local. When you purchase from Second Nature by Hand, you are helping a little girl join dance lessons, a boy earn his team jersey, and a family from small-town Wisconsin make a dream come true.

designDesign Design

Did you know Americans spend $68 million on greeting cards for Mother’s day? That is a lot of cards! With so many to choose from, we think you’ll find the perfect greeting card with the right message from Design Design.

Design Design was founded 27 years ago by Don Kallil and his wife Jennifer at their kitchen table. Today, they continue the tradition of producing beautiful cards for everyday occasions and special holidays. Their mission statement is “Connecting People to People,” and they do just that with their lovely cards. They are still a family company based in Grand Rapids, Michigan, where they have their own printing facility on site.

The Design Design line offers a broad assortment of Mother’s Day cards for your mom, wife, daughter, sister or someone special. Bristol Farms carries handmade, letterpress, whimsical, and sentimental cards and gift packaging for the holiday.

I hope your day spent with the mom in your life is truly enjoyable!
