Wine Thursday: Chateau Signac Cotes du Rhone Rose 2016

posted on November 30th, 2017 by Leslie Thomas

Roses are no longer just for spring and summer quaffing. It has quickly become one of the most popular wines for the Thanksgiving feast (since it works with both white and red meat) and then it’s a hop, skip and a jump into the December holidays. Light salmon-pink in color, the nose offers focus with a mixture of citrus and red fruits after swirling. The palate is invigorating, showing lovely and generous spice and fruit flavors that tease with mouthwatering enjoyment . A wonderful wine suited as an aperitif, with hors d’oeuvres, ham, shellfish and of course, the aforementioned poultry dishes.
