For St. Patty’s Sipping: Irish Coffee with Spiked Whipped Cream {Recipe}

Hooray – St. Patrick’s Day is on a Saturday this year! And while many of us will be celebrating the festive holiday with the kids by way of wearing green and obliging to some shamrock arts and crafts, some of us just may find the time to sneak in an Irish Coffee (or two).

And then of course, there’s those of us with no little ones to attend to who can celebrate in real Irish style.

Whatever the case, one thing’s for certain; this Irish Coffee with Spiked Whipped Cream is absolutely delicious…and maybe a little dangerous too.

Irish Coffee With Spiked Whipped Cream


  • 8 ounces hot and freshly brewed coffee
  • 1 ounce Jameson Irish Whiskey
  • 1 ounce Bailey’s Irish Cream
  • 1 teaspoon pure cane sugar

For the spiked whipped cream:

  • 1 cup heavy whipping cream
  • 2 tablespoons powdered sugar
  • 1 1/2 teaspoons Bailey’s Irish Cream
  • 1/2 teaspoon Vanilla extract

In a mixing bowl, combine whipping cream, sugar, Irish cream, and vanilla extract. Using a hand-held mixer on high, mix cream until pillowy peaks form at the top. Set aside.

Combine coffee, whiskey, Irish cream, and sugar in a glass mug. Stir and top with spiked whipped cream
