Spring Picnic Essentials from Bristol Farms
posted on April 16th, 2018 by Leslie Thomas
Beach season is basically here – even if those warm and sunny days are only coming a few days out of the week. Here’s to hoping “May Gray” and “June Gloom” don’t show up to spoil the fun either. Until that moody season comes our way though, make sure to enjoy some quality time at the beach or at your favorite park and let us help you with a picnic lunch with fresh-made sandwiches from our carvery, salads from our deli, as well as grab-and-go items and refreshing beverages to quench your thirst too!
Here’s our list of spring picnic essentials – all from our easy-to-shop stores.
Cold Liquid Bottles
Whether you’re packing water or your favorite white wine, you’ll want bottles that will keep these liquids cold and refreshing for a warm Spring day. From Corksicle to HydroFlask, we have the best bottles for all of your picnic drinks.
Plates, Napkins, Etc.
If you’re wanting to be green (and we certainly hope that’s the case!) we have a wide array of picnic friendly plate ware and utensils that you can use time and time again. But if you’re looking for disposable items, we have you covered too with the cutest springtime plates and napkins from Design Design.
Sandwiches, Chips, & Prepared Salads
Before you head off to the beach or Griffith Park for a concert, don’t forget to grab the eating essentials like custom-made sandwiches from our carvery station as well as fresh-made salads like Spinach Pasta Salad or Cauliflower Tabouli from our deli.
Cheese + Charcuterie
If you’re hoping to get a little fancy at our picnic, shop our massive collection of imported and domestic cheeses, meats, and artisan condiments like fig jams and honey for the ultimate cheese and charcuterie board.
Our very own Sparkling Italian Soda is low calorie and made with fruit directly from Italy. The perfect thirst quencher for a steamy day at the beach, we love them on their own or added to vodka or rum for a tasty and light adult beverage.
Boxed Wine + Beer (in the can)
Because glass is prohibited at all beaches and parks, abide by the rules with help from our beer and wine department. We have a vast selection of can beer as well as box wine and picnic-friendly wine in plastic too!
