Super Sausage Sandwich
Featuring the extraordinary fresh sausages
from our meat department, these easy-to-make sandwiches will keep you out of the kitchen and right in front of the
set.
The perfect Monday night Meal!
1 LB Bristol Quality Italian Sausages
2 tablespoons Extra virgin Olive Oil
1 each Yellow Onion, thinly sliced
1 each Red, Yellow and Green Bell Pepper, julienned
to taste Kosher Salt and Freshly Ground Pepper
2 each Bristol Bakery French Baguette
6 ounces Tilamock Sharp Cheddar Cheese, shredded
Method:
Bake Italian Sausages for about 20 minutes or until fully cooked
in preheated 350 degrees oven. Heat oil in large saut; pan over high heat. Add sliced onions to pan and saut; for
about 2 minutes. Add red, Yellow and Green Bell Peppers and season with salt and pepper. Continue cooking for
another 2 minutes. Remove from heat, keep warm. Cut French Baguette in four pieces. Slice each in half like you
would with Hot Dog Bun. Place one sausage in each of the bread and top with the hot onion and peppers mixture. Top
with shredded Cheddar cheese and serve immediately.
