Avocado toast, 6 ways!
There are very few foods out there that are equally as delicious for breakfast, lunch, and dinner, but we’re very grateful that avocado toast is one of them! This healthy food trend is definitely here to stay, so we’ve outlined a few of the most craveable ways to enjoy the ever so popular and even more addicting “avo toast”. The green fruit, that honestly tastes and spreads like some kind of healthy green butter, is packed with nutritional benefits like good-for-you, heart-healthy fats, fiber, and potassium. Paired with whole-grain or gluten-free bread and some creative toppings, avocado toast is a meal that allows you to show off your inner chef and will have you feeling completely satisfied with just minimal effort in the kitchen.
1. Put an Egg on It!
Talk about a match made in foodie heaven! Avocado toast with a fried or poached egg on top truly takes your meal to the next level. A runny yolk adds multi-dimensional flavor and even more health benefits, like a boost of vitamin D and protein. Choose cage-free eggs and scramble, poach, or soft boil to your heart’s desire before adding to your avo!
