The Best Margarita You’ve Ever Made

But if you want to make a proper margarita, we have a recipe ready for you. A timeless cocktail made with tequila, fresh squeezed lime juice, orange liqueur, and of course, some kosher salt, a classic margarita is truly one of the easier cocktails one can concoct.
So go on with your bad self this Cinco De Mayo and shake up the very best margarita you (and your friends) have ever had.
The Best Classic Margarita Recipe
- 1 ounce freshly squeeze lime juice
- 1 ounce Cointreau or triple sec
- 1 1/2 ounces Camarena tequila
- Kosher salt for salt rim
- lime wedges for garnish
- Rocks (cubes or crushed)
Shake lime juice, tequila, and Cointreau in shaker until glass/tumbler frosts. Then, wet the rim of a margarita or short glass with salt. Add ice. Pour margarita into glass and garnish with lime. Enjoy!
