If you’ve never had burrata, you are in for a creamy, silky dream come true. Each individual ball of Bristol Farms burrata is handmade by local cheesemaking artisans who stretch the outer shell over soft curds to create the velvety interior texture that we know and love.

Go ahead…slice into that soft mozzarella exterior, and delight as the rich middle of fresh cream and curds trickles out, ready to be spread on bread or scooped up with a spoon. Or, better yet, let our burrata shine in a simple salad with heirloom tomatoes, extra virgin olive oil and basil. Want to take it to the next level this summer? Peach, Heirloom Tomato & Burrata Salad

Yields 1 serving

INGREDIENTS

  • 2 heirloom tomatoes, sliced 1/4 inch thick
  • 1 fresh burrata
  • 1 large peach
  • 1 tablespoon balsamic vinegar
  • 3 tablespoons fresh basil, chopped
  • 3 sprigs fresh mint, chopped

DIRECTIONS

  • 1. Place 4 tomato slices on a plate or platter and top each with a piece of fresh burrata, followed by a slice of peach. Repeat twice, until you have 2 layers of tomatoes, 2 layers of cheese, and 2 layers of peaches.
  • 2. Drizzle each tower with balsamic.
  • 3. Top the towers with chopped basil & mint.
