Spring is here and we’re all about sunshine and tasty sips. We’re not into April showers in SoCal, so it’s all about sunshine and tasty sips. Sweet, fruity, and refreshing, these drink recipes are guaranteed to make you the toast of the table. All you need is some ice, a shaker, and a sense of adventure!

Ready to spring into action? Start with this simple syrup for a fun twist on the classic Tom Collins.

Lavender Simple Syrup

Ingredients:
1 cup water
2 cups sugar
4 tbsp lavender flowers (fresh or dried)

Directions:
1. In a small pot, add water and sugar over medium heat. Stir until dissolved.
2. Add lavender. Bring to a boil and then return to low heat. Cook for 15 minutes.
3. Remove from heat and let steep for 1 hour.
4. Strain to remove lavender before storing in the fridge.

Lavender Tom Collins

Ingredients:
2 oz gin
1 oz lemon juice
1/4 oz lavender simple syrup
Club soda
Sprigs of lavender & lemon to garnish

Directions:
1. Add gin, lemon juice, and lavender simple syrup to Collins glass filled with ice. Stir.
2. Top off with club soda.
3. Garnish and enjoy!

Strawberry Blonde

Ingredients:

3 strawberries, tops removed
2 oz vodka
1 1/2 oz fresh lemon juice
3/4 oz simple syrup
Club Soda to top

Directions:
1. Muddle 2 strawberries at the bottom of a cocktail shaker.
2. Add vodka, lemon juice, simple syrup, and ice. Shake.
3. Strain over ice into a highball glass.
4. Top with club soda and garnish with the final strawberry.

Slightly sweet and decidedly delicious, the Honey Bee is simply perfect. You can even mix it up with a wildflower, orange blossom, or sage honey for a floral twist.

Honey Bee

Ingredients:

2 oz white rum
1/2 tbsp honey
1/2 oz lemon Juice
1/2 oz orange Juice
1 lemon twist

Directions:
1. Add honey, white rum, lemon juice, and orange juice to a cocktail shaker. Top with ice. Shake well.
2. Strain into a chilled martini glass.
3. Top with a lemon twist and enjoy!
