handmade L.A. chocolate since 1950
We’re so thrilled to announce that we are now carrying Compartés’ deliciously creative chocolate bars in our West Hollywood store. The unique and trend-setting chocolatier has been hand making decadent creations for nearly 70 years but is most recently known for their striking packaging and use of unexpected local ingredients like California avocados, fruit from L.A. farmers markets, and donuts from some of L.A.’s best donut shops. They’ve been featured on Oprah’s FavoriteThings 3 times and have also won countless awards for their packaging designs. If you haven’t tried this local chocolate yet, now is the time to see what all of the (much-deserved) hype is about!
Official Tasting this Saturday, August 18th - 11am-2pm at our West Hollywood store

Sweet, ripe cherries in January? You read correctly. And these aren’t just your average cherries either. These oh, so plump and juicy dark red beauties are flown in from our mates in Tasmania, Australia every winter. The amazing fruit is grown on the awe-inspiring orchards of the Hansens; a 4th generation family farm who specialize in Tasmania cherries.
If you haven’t had a chance to try these cherries yet, ask for sample the next time you’re in our stores. Be prepared to be blown away. They are quite addictive.
They’re amazing on their own for snacking but we’re pretty fond of chopping them up and adding them to vanilla bean ice cream, Greek yogurt, a craft cocktail (cherry Moscow mule anyone?) or even burrata cheese with some crushed pistachios Read More

Pumpkin Spice lattes, pumpkin pastas, pumpkin pastries, and of course, pumpkin beer...it's all part of the pumpkin "worshiping" that starts in September and goes through Thanksgiving.
Our Fall pumpkins are here and they are as beautiful as ever. They're brought down to us from Van Groningen & Sons, a farm located in Northern California. The farm was started in 1922 by Henry Van Groningen, who had immigrated from the Netherlands to America in 1910. Over the years the farming operation took different shapes and today, is ran by his children, nephews, and grandchildren.
From melons to corn to nuts, Van Groningen & Sons do it all. But when Fall comes, they are all about their "pamper'd pumpkins." Boasting traditional carving pumpkins as well as exotic varieties, they take great pride in… Read More
