We’re inviting brussels sprouts to the table this year, adding to the green dream team roster. Green beans can’t have all the fun! There are many ways to make these misunderstood mini cabbages a tasty part of your Thanksgiving plate. They’re great roasted, sautéed, charred, or caramelized. Whether you’re cooking them in the oven, on the stove, or even in your air fryer, there’s no sprout about it—these brussels recipes are worth a try:

Roasted Brussels Sprouts

INGREDIENTS

1 1/2 lbs brussels sprouts
2 tbsp extra virgin olive oil
1/4 tsp salt

DIRECTIONS

Preheat your oven to 425°F.

Slice off the bottom of each sprout and then slice in half lengthwise, discarding any discolored or wilted leaves.

Toss the halved sprouts in the olive oil and salt then spread evenly on a baking sheet.

Roast until golden brown and tender, about 20-25 minutes.

Maple Bacon Brussels Sprouts

INGREDIENTS

1 1/2 lbs brussels sprouts
2 tbsp extra virgin olive oil
1/4 tsp salt
3 tbsp maple syrup
4 slices bacon, cut into 1/2 inch pieces

DIRECTIONS

Preheat your oven to 400°F.

Slice off the bottom of each sprout and then slice in half lengthwise, discarding any discolored or wilted leaves.

Toss the halved sprouts in the maple syrup and olive oil.

Sprinkle with the salt and bacon pieces, and spread evenly on a baking sheet.

Roast until the sprouts and bacon are crispy and caramelized, about 45 minutes.

Ready to serve!

Crispy Cajun Brussels Sprouts

INGREDIENTS

2 lb brussels sprouts
2 tbsp extra virgin olive oil
2 tsp Cajun Seasoning

DIRECTIONS

Preheat your oven to 400°F and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.

Slice off the bottom of each sprout and then slice in half lengthwise, discarding any discolored or wilted leaves.

Place the brussels sprouts in a bowl, and toss in the oil and seasoning until coated.

Pour evenly onto your baking sheet and roast for 25-30 minutes, shaking the pan every 5 to 7 minutes for even browning.
