Dark and deep purple in color, this Petite Sirah is a lush, ripe wine, impressive for its sheer power and fruit that offers a balance of spice and vibrant tannins. The flavors are on the wild side, brimming with blackberry and sweet vanilla, plums, bacon and exotic spices. Layered and complex, floral notes and a slightly peppery sensation balance the jammy, fruity characteristics and lends a savory earthiness to the finish. 2012 Ryan Cochrane Santa Maria Valley Pinot Noir Solomon Hills Vineyard 92 points - Cellar Selection Wine Enthusiast The justly famous Solomon Hills Vineyard is located about seven miles from the ocean just outside the city of Orcutt in Santa Barbara County. The maritime influence combined with the sandy loam soil results in wines with bright fruit, good balance, crisp acidity and what is known as "Santa Maria spice". The lively nose jumps out of the glass, revealing a tightly-knit profile of fresh cherries, strawberries, hazelnuts, spice cake, violet and rose petal. Easy Weeknight Roasted Veggies

We all get busy sometimes. And with the holidays approaching, life just seems to get more hectic each day. So coming home to prepare a dinner from scratch for the family isn't always a priority. But greasy and mysterious ingredient take-out isn't always what we want to do either. The simplest solution we can suggest? A hot and juicy hormone and antibiotic-free rotisserie chicken from our stores paired with easy and oh, so flavorful roasted vegetables. Because roasting vegetables like carrots, squash, and potatoes is what you do in the Fall and Winter. Ingredients: 2 lb Yukon Gold potatoes 2 lb. Rainbow carrots, peeled and cut on a bias 2 tablespoons olive or grapeseed oil 1 tablespoon fresh thyme, finely cut 1 tablespoon Rosemary, finely cut 1 tablespoon butter Salt and Pepper Directions: Preheat oven to 400 degrees.
