All of our holiday greenery comes from Continental Floral Greens, a West Coast purveyor of sustainable and gorgeous greens. Their Western greens are grown in the wild, just as Mother Nature intended, and they take great care of the land and resources so they can harvest beautiful greens now and for generations to come. They are part of the water recycling program in California, certified MPS-A for all western greens, and operate with minimal usage of non-toxic fertilizers.

Our master butcher is ready to make your holidays merrier!
All it takes is one conversation with artisan butcher Brian Juarez (Newport Beach store) to know: he is passionate about his work. He’s been butcher-ing for almost a decade and though he enjoys getting to use his considerable knife skills, he says what he loves most is helping customers. “When I help someone at the counter, I feel really good knowing that I got to play a small part of the meal she cooks for her family.” And the Bristol Farms meat quality? “It’s the best, and it’s sustainable. Our meat has tons of flavor, but we never use antibiotics or hormones. I’m proud to stand behind it.”
Brian's favorite holiday meal: "Easy, my grandmom's famous tamales." Read More

The holidays are coming up which means you'll be hosting (or attending) more dinner parties. Use these helpful tips to impress everyone at the table:
Setting a table:
Silverware should go in order of the course. Salad and soup on the outside, main course on the inside, dessert above dinner plate (optional).
Bread plate and butter knife are on the left and your drinks go on the right.
You can stack your plates before the meal in order of course offered. Main plate on the bottom, the salad plate, and a soup bowl on top.
A napkin with a festive napkin ring can help dress up any plain napkin or add color to your table setting.
If a first course of salad or soup is offered, use the outer utensils first. The fork will be smaller and the spoon will be larger than their counterparts.
Your drinks are always on your right and your bread plate is always to the left. A fun way to remember this is making a "b" and "d" with your hands.

The Cookie is The Cookie to end all cookies. If you haven’t yet stopped by to try The Cookie you are missing out on one of the best products that we have to offer.
The Cookie is an all butter cookie containing more than 60% Belgian chocolate and toasted walnuts. You will find it at most of our stores (Palm Desert and Rolling Hills coming soon) served warm all day; WARM ALL DAY! Did you read that? Warm all day, isn’t that amazing?!
What goes better with warm cookies, besides a tall glass of milk?? Hot coffee does. As the weather is cooling and we are starting to experience a season change (yay for sweaters and scarves) it would almost be sacrilegious not to indulge in warm cookies and coffee. In California we have to use all of our senses to experience the season so go ahead, and treat yourself.
Not into coffee? We have tea and blended drinks as well. Just get yourself into the store; we know that you will find what you need to feel the Fall Read More
Conca d’Or’ Lilies never disappoint me. These gems are extraordinary reliable time after time. I am not quite sure if it’s their sophisticated upright trumpet-shaped blooms, subtle fragrance or the fact they are just fun to say. I think it’s all of the above!! Because of their gentle buttery hues, Conca d’Or’s compliment any season or holiday table.
This divine lily is not grown by many any longer or easily found for purchase in California for that matter. I cherish the relationship I have with our local grower allowing Bristol Farms to offer these lilies year round!
In 2010 the Conca d’Or’ was inducted into the Hall of Fame Lilies. So I am not the only one who thinks they are amazing! Read More
Do you miss having fresh tasting fish during the winter months, and getting the essential intake of Omega-3 fatty acids that only fish like wild Salmon can provide? We’re proud to introduce our Frozen-at-Sea Salmon (FAS) product which is a better quality and fresher tasting fish than some of our fresh fish products.
During the peak of the season when the salmon are at their best, King and Coho salmon are frozen-at-sea. This allows us to have superior quality wild salmon year-round. These fish are actually “fresher than fresh”, have better quality and are better tasting than some of our fresh fish products.
The technique has been perfected over the last decade. The key is immediate, rapid freezing at very low temperature (minus 40° F) known as cryogenic freezing, right on the boat. The fully frozen fish are dipped several times in freshwater to give them a thin coating of ice which seals in moisture and prevents dehydration.
FAS salmon can be maintained at minus 20°… Read More

Stop by our Bakery today and pick our very own Bristol Farms Cranberry Brioche.
Brioche is enriched French bread, meaning that the dough contains a high proportion of milk, butter and eggs in it. Historically the French include Brioche as part of their Viennoiserie, which is a family of pastry that is eaten for breakfast. At Bristol Farms we are carrying many Brioche items that have gone beyond breakfast.
We are so excited to offer our holiday inspired Cranberry Brioche Loaf to you right now. This loaf is loaded with cranberries and has a soft, dense buttery feel to it. It makes fantastic French toast and an even better turkey sandwich. I like it toasted with a little butter for breakfast. However you decide to use it we guarantee this will become a new favorite.
