NO PURCHASE IS NECESSARY TO ENTER OR WIN THE PRIZE. THE PRIZE CONSISTS OF THE RIGHT TO PURCHASE A LIMITED-EDITION CURATED BOTTLE OF WHISKEY (THE “BOTTLE”). IF YOU ARE A SELECTED WINNER, YOU WILL HAVE THE RIGHT, BUT NOT THE OBLIGATION, TO PURCHASE THE BOTTLE.
Sponsor: The Sponsor of the Bristol Farms Sweepstakes (“Sweepstakes”) is Bristol Farms, 915 E. 230th St., Carson, CA 90745, USA (“Sponsor”).
Eligibility: The Sweepstakes is open and offered only to legal residents of California, who are at least twenty-one (21) years of age. Employees of Sponsor and their immediate families (parent, child, sibling, or spouse) and/or household members of respective parent companies, subsidiaries, affiliates, distributors, sales representatives, advertising and promotional agencies, and any other persons or entities associated with this promotion are not eligible to participate in the Sweepstakes. The Sweepstakes is subject to all applicable federal, state, and local laws and regulations, and is void outside the United States and where prohibited. To claim Prize, you must be able to travel to a Bristol Farms location, where you will be required to complete a declaration.
Agreement to Official Rules: By participating in the Sweepstakes, you agree to be fully and unconditionally bound by these official Sweepstakes rules (“Official Rules”), and you represent and warrant that you meet the eligibility requirements. In addition, you agree to accept the decisions of Sponsor as final and binding as it relates to this Sweepstakes and consent to be contacted by Sponsor by email.
Sweepstakes Period: Digital entries only. Sweepstakes begins on Friday, May 30, 2023 at 12:01am Pacific Daylight Time (“PDT”) and ends on Monday, June 12, 2023 at 11:59pm, PDT (the “Sweepstakes Period”). All entries must be received during the Sweepstakes Period. Sponsor’s computer (or that of its designee for this Sweepstakes) is the official time keeping device for online entry into the Sweepstakes.
How to Enter: To enter, access the entry form located at www.bristolfarms.com/vanwinkle You will be asked to enter your first and last name, an email address, phone number, and your preferred “primary” Bristol Farms store. The entry must be complete and eligibility must fulfill all Sweepstakes requirements, as specified in these Official Rules, to be eligible to win the Prize. Please note that all Selected Winners must be verified in Person. Entries that are incomplete or do not adhere to these Official Rules may be disqualified at the sole discretion of Sponsor. You may enter only once. You must provide the information requested. You may not enter more than once by using multiple email addresses, identities, or devices in an attempt to circumvent the Official Rules. If you use fraudulent methods or otherwise attempt to circumvent the Official Rules, your submission may be removed from eligibility at the sole discretion of Sponsor. By submitting an entry, you represent and warrant that all of the information provided as part of your entry is accurate, does not violate any third party’s legal rights (including without limitation rights of privacy and publicity), and otherwise does not violate applicable law.
Prizes: The selected winner of the Sweepstakes (the “Selected Winner”) will be given the Prize of an opportunity to purchase a limited-edition bottle of whiskey, as outlined below (the “Selected Bottle”). There is no cash value to the Prize, given it is an opportunity to purchase a Selected Bottle. The actual/appraised value of the Bottle may differ from what is listed, and if so, that will not change the purchase price of the Bottle. The purchase price of the Bottle, as listed in these Official Rules, does not include tax, which will be the sole responsibility of the Selected Winner. Any and all Prize-related expenses, including without limitation transportation costs, shall be the sole responsibility of Selected Winner. The winning of the Prize is not a taxable event, but the purchase of the Bottle, should the Selected Winner choose to accept it, is a taxable event. No substitution of Prize or transfer/assignment of Prize to others or request for any special privilege by Selected Winner is permitted, except by Sponsor, who reserves the right to substitute the Bottle for something of equal or greater value for any reason. Acceptance of Prize constitutes permission for Sponsor to use Selected Winner’s name, likeness, and entry for purposes of advertising and trade without further compensation, unless prohibited by law. Prizes are awarded “AS IS” with no warranty, representation or guarantee, express or implied, in fact or in law, made by Sponsor or for which Sponsor shall be liable, including, without limitation, ANY IMPLIED WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY, NONINFRINGEMENT OR FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE.
Odds: The odds of winning depend on the number of eligible entries received by Sponsor.
Selected Winner Selection and Notification: The Selected Winners (9) will be selected by a random drawing by or under the supervision of Sponsor from among all eligible entries received by Sponsor. The Selected Winner will be notified by email within forty-eight (48) hours following selection of the Selected Winner, by telephone and email only. Sponsor shall have no liability for the Selected Winner’s failure to review messages or email notices from Sponsor due to SPAM filters, telephone block systems or other technology challenges or security settings or for the Selected Winner’s provision of incorrect or otherwise non-functioning contact information. Selected Winner will have 24 hours to reply by email only. If the Selected Winner cannot be contacted, is ineligible, or fails to claim the Prize within 24 hours, the Prize may be forfeited and an alternate Selected Winner may be selected by Sponsor, up to three times. Receipt by the Selected Winner of the Prize offered in this Sweepstakes is conditioned upon compliance with any and all federal, state, and local laws and regulations. ANY VIOLATION OF THESE OFFICIAL RULES BY THE SELECTED WINNER (AT SPONSOR‘S SOLE DISCRETION) WILL RESULT IN THE SELECTED WINNER’S DISQUALIFICATION AS SELECTED WINNER OF THE SWEEPSTAKES, AND ALL PRIVILEGES AS SELECTED WINNER WILL BE IMMEDIATELY TERMINATED.
Bottle Selection: Selected Winners will be provided a number at the time they respond to the Selected Winner notification, as outlined above (1-9). The number corresponds to the order the Selected Winner will be able to choose from the 9 enumerated Bottles. For instance, the Selected Winner with number 1 (the first draw) will have first choice. Please note that, while a Selected Winner’s priority position cannot go down (e.g., a person told they are number 7 will never go to number 8), in the event a Selected Winner with a higher number does not claim the Prize within 24 hours, Selected Winners may be notified they have a lower (better) number. All Bottles are 750ml bottles.

Selected Winners will be able to choose from what is left after prior Selected Winners make their selection(s). Selected Winners may forfeit their Prize prior to making a purchase. Selected Winners must pick up their chosen Bottle at the Bristol Farms location they indicate on the form. Except as prohibited by law, Bottles may not be picked up by proxy. Selected Winner must show up in person to redeem Prize and pay for bottle.
Bottle Pickup: Selected Winners will be required to make their selection at the time they claim their Prize. The Bottle selected will be made available for pickup at the Bristol Farms location indicated on the entry form used to enter the Sweepstakes. Bottle may be picked up beginning on Saturday, June 17, 2023 at 12:00pm (noon) through 5:00pm on Friday, July 7, 2023. Bottles will not be available after July 7, 2023 and failure to purchase the Bottle by July 7, 2023 constitutes forfeiture of the Prize.
Declaration of Eligibility: The Selected Winner will be required to execute and return to the Sponsor a declaration of eligibility (the “Declaration”), and Selected Winner must provide a valid California ID card, in person, to claim the Bottle. By completing, signing and returning the Declaration, the Selected Winner (i) releases and forever discharges the Sponsor, its affiliates and subsidiaries, and their respective advertising and promotional agencies from all claims, demands, damages, actions and causes of action arising out of participation in this Sweepstakes or to arise by use of the Prize, and (ii) confirms compliance with these Official Rules. If the Selected Winner is unable or unwilling to complete the Declaration in its entirety, Selected Winner forfeits the Prize.
Taxes: The value of the Bottle will be taxable to Selected Winner at the time of Purchase.
Terms & Conditions: Sponsor reserves the right, in its sole discretion, to cancel, terminate, modify or suspend the Sweepstakes should a pandemic, public health emergency, computer virus or bug, non-authorized human intervention, fraud, or other cause beyond Sponsor’s control corrupt or affect the administration, security, fairness, or proper conduct of the Sweepstakes. In such case, Sponsor may select the Selected Winner from all eligible entries received prior to and/or after (if appropriate) the action taken by Sponsor. Sponsor reserves the right, in its sole discretion, to disqualify any individual who tampers or attempts to tamper with the entry process or the operation of the Sweepstakes or website or violates these Official Rules. Sponsor has the right, in its sole discretion, to maintain the integrity of the Sweepstakes, to void entries for any reason, including, but not limited to: (a) multiple entries from the same user from different IP addresses; (b) multiple entries; or (c) the use of bots, macros, scripts, or other technical means for entering. Any attempt by you to deliberately damage any website or undermine the legitimate operation of the Sweepstakes may be a violation of criminal and civil laws. Should such attempt be made, Sponsor reserves the right to seek damages to the fullest extent permitted by law.
Limitation of Liability: By entering, you agree to release and hold harmless Sponsor and its subsidiaries, affiliates, advertising and promotion agencies, partners, representatives, agents, successors, assigns, employees, officers, and directors from any liability, illness, injury, death, loss, litigation, claim, or damage that may occur, directly or indirectly, whether caused by negligence or not, from: (i) your participation in the Sweepstakes and/or your acceptance, possession, use, or misuse of the Prize or any portion thereof; (ii) technical failures of any kind, including but not limited to the malfunction of any computer, cable, network, hardware, or software, or other mechanical equipment; (iii) the unavailability or inaccessibility of any transmissions, telephone, or Internet service; (iv) unauthorized human intervention in any part of the entry process or the Sweepstakes; (v) electronic or human error in the administration of the Sweepstakes or the processing of entries; and (vi) participation in any Prize-related activity (including, without limitation, claims, costs, injuries, losses or damages related to personal injuries, death, damage to, loss or destruction of property, rights of publicity or privacy, defamation or portrayal in a false light).
Disputes: THE SWEEPSTAKES ARE GOVERNED BY THE LAWS OF THE STATE OF CALIFORNIA, WITHOUT RESPECT TO CONFLICT OF LAW DOCTRINES. As a condition of participating in the Sweepstakes, you agree that the only remedy for dispute relating to this Sweepstakes is an entry. Any disputes relating to the receipt of the Prize that cannot be resolved between you and the Sponsor, shall be resolved individually, without resort to any form of class action, exclusively before a court of competent jurisdiction located in Los Angeles County, CA. Further, in any such dispute, under no circumstances shall you be permitted to obtain awards for, and you hereby waive all rights to, punitive, incidental, or consequential damages, including reasonable attorney’s fees, other than your actual out-of-pocket expenses (i.e., costs associated with entering this Sweepstakes). You further waive all rights to have damages multiplied or increased.
Privacy Policy: Information submitted by you in connection with the Sweepstakes is subject to the Privacy Policy stated on the Sponsor website. To read the Privacy Policy, click here. All personal information collected by Sponsor will be used for administration of the Sweepstakes. In addition, independent of the Privacy Policy, Entrants may receive email correspondence from, or on behalf of Sponsor. Sponsor uses reasonable commercial efforts to comply with Federal CAN-SPAM guidelines and to supply information to entities that comply with CAN-SPAM guidelines, and Entrants may subsequently opt-out of receiving further emails by following the opt-out instructions contained in the email. Any questions regarding privacy matters should be directed to the email address set out in Section 17 below.
Selected Winners List: To obtain a copy of the Selected Winner’s name or a copy of these Official Rules, after 90 days, send an e-mail request with the words Bristol Farms Sweepstakes, to hello@bristolfarms.com no later than 12:00AM, PDT on October 31, 2023.
