1 cup cranberry juice
1/2 cup freshly squeezed orange juice
1 bottle of chilled champagne or sparkling wine
Fresh cranberries, for garnish
Orange slices, for garnish
sugar or simple syrup for rimming the glasses
If desired, rim the champagne flutes with sugar or simple syrup by dipping the rims in a shallow dish filled with sugar or simple syrup.
In each champagne flute, pour 1/4 cup of cranberry juice and 2 tablespoons of freshly squeezed orange juice.
Carefully fill the rest of the glass with chilled champagne or sparkling wine, being mindful of the fizz.
Garnish each glass with a few fresh cranberries and an orange slice.
Serve immediately and enjoy the refreshing and festive cranberry and orange mimosas.
