Sparkling Sangria

Sparkling Sangria (Featuring Le Grand Courtâge)
This exquisite Sparkling Sangria recipe showcases the crisp and refreshing flavors of Le Grand Courtâge champagne, adding a touch of elegance to your next gathering.

Ingredients

  • 1 bottle Le Grand Courtâge sparkling wine (Brut or Rose)

  • 1 cup orange juice

  • 1/2 cup brandy

  • 1/4 cup simple syrup (recipe below)

  • 1 orange, sliced

  • 1 lemon, sliced

  • 1 apple, diced

  • 1 cup mixed berries (strawberries, blueberries, raspberries)

  • Ice cubes

  • Mint leaves, for garnish

Simple Syrup

  • 1 cup water

  • 1 cup granulated sugar

Directions

  1. In a large pitcher, combine the Le Grand Courtâge sparkling wine, orange juice, brandy, and simple syrup. Stir well to mix all the ingredients together.
  2. Add the sliced orange, lemon, diced apple, and mixed berries to the pitcher. Stir gently to incorporate the fruits.
  3. Place the pitcher in the refrigerator and let the sangria chill for at least 1 hour so the flavors meld together.
  4. When you’re ready to serve, fill glasses with ice cubes. Pour the sparkling sangria over the ice, making sure to scoop some fruits into each glass.
  5. Garnish each glass with a sprig of mint leaves.
  6. Simple Syrup
In a small saucepan, combine the water and granulated sugar.
  7. Bring the mixture to a boil over medium heat, stirring occasionally to dissolve the sugar.
  8. Once the sugar has dissolved, reduce the heat and let the mixture simmer for about 5 minutes.
  9. Remove the saucepan from the heat and let the simple syrup cool completely.
  10. Transfer the simple syrup to a jar or bottle for storage. It can be kept in the refrigerator for up to two weeks and used in other cocktails as well.
