4 cups Broguire's Eggnog
1 cup peppermint schnapps
1 teaspoon vanilla extract
1/2 teaspoon ground nutmeg
Whipped cream, for topping
Crushed candy canes, for garnish
1 cup rum
In a large pitcher, combine the Broguiere's Eggnog, peppermint schnapps, rum (if using), vanilla extract, and ground nutmeg. Stir well to mix all of the ingredients.
Place the pitcher in the refrigerator and let the eggnog chill for at least 30 minutes so that the flavors meld together.
When ready to serve, give the eggnog a good stir. Pour the spiked peppermint eggnog into glasses, leaving some room for toppings.
Top each glass with a dollop of whipped cream and sprinkle some crushed candy canes on top.
