Love at first sip! This elegant spritz delivers a harmonious blend of sweet and savory flavors with delicacy and finesse. Umami-rich balsamic complements the sweetness of fresh strawberries, yielding a beautiful match for cured meats and aged cheeses.
Ingredients
3 fresh strawberries, hulled and sliced
1 1/2 London Dry Gin

Add the gin and simple syrup (if using) to the shaker. Fill with ice and shake vigorously for about 10 to 15 seconds to chill and aerate.
-
Using a Hawthorne strainer and a fine-mesh tea strainer, double-strain into a large glass.
-
Gently pour in the Prosecco and top with a splash of club soda
-
Stir very briefly to integrate and garnish with a fresh basil leaf or a crack of black pepper.
