  • 2 pounds Wild King Salmon, 1” thick fillets

  • 1/8 teaspoon sea salt

  • 1/2 teaspoon freshly ground black pepper

  • 1/4 teaspoon garlic powder

  • 1/4 teaspoon onion powder

  • 1 teaspoon cinnamon

  • 1 teaspoon honey

  • 4 teaspoon olive oil


  1. Wash salmon with cold water and pat dry.
  2. Coat fillets with 2 tsp. olive oil, honey, cinnamon, and seasonings. Use a spatula to apply evenly across all sides.
  3. Add olive oil to skillet, heat to medium-high. Place two fillets skin-side down. Repeat for second batch.
  4. Sear fillet(s) on both sides, about 4 minutes per side.
