12 ounces wide egg noodles
4 tablespoons unsalted butter, melted
4 large eggs
1 cup sour cream
1 cup cottage cheese
1 cup sugar
1 teaspoon vanilla extract
1 teaspoon cinnamon
1 cup raisins
1 cup crushed pineapple, drained
Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C) and grease a 9x13-inch baking dish.
Cook the egg noodles according to the package instructions until they are al dente. Drain and set aside.
In a large bowl, whisk together the melted butter, eggs, sour cream, cottage cheese, sugar, vanilla extract, and cinnamon until well combined.
Add the cooked noodles, raisins, and crushed pineapple to the bowl and gently mix everything together until the noodles are fully coated.
Pour the noodle mixture into the prepared baking dish and spread it out evenly.
Bake the kugel in the preheated oven for about 45-50 minutes, or until the top is golden brown and the center is set.
Remove the kugel from the oven and let it cool for a few minutes before cutting it into squares or slices.
Serve the sweet noodle kugel warm or at room temperature.
