Turkey and Cranberry Grilled Cheese
Create a sweet and savory grilled cheese with leftover turkey and tart cranberry sauce!


  • 4 slices of bread

  • 4 slices of leftover turkey

  • 4 slices of cheese (cheddar or Swiss)

  • 2 tablespoons cranberry sauce

  • 2 tablespoons butter, softened


  1. Preheat a skillet over medium heat. 
  2. Butter one side of each slice of bread. 
  3. Spread a layer of cranberry sauce on the other side of two slices of bread. 
  4. Place 2 to 3 slices of leftover turkey along with a slice of cheese on top of the cranberry sauce. 
  5. Top each sandwich with the remaining slices of bread, buttered-side up. 
  6. Place the sandwiches in the skillet and cook until the bread is golden brown and the cheese is melted. This should take about 2 to 3 minutes per side. 
  7. Remove the sandwiches from the skillet and let them rest for a minute. 
  8. Cut the grilled cheese sandwich in half and serve hot.
