Spiced Negroni

 Indulge is a festive rendition of Italy’s most famous cocktail! Fresh cinnamon, clove, and star anise add a warm touch to this bitter and botanical-forward beverage.
 

Ingredients

For the spiced gin:

  • 8 ounce London Dry Gin

  • 2 cinnamon sticks

  • 5 whole cloves

  • 3 star anise pods

For building the cocktail:

  • 1 ounce spiced gin (from your infusion)

  • 1 ounce Campari

  • 1 ounce sweet vermouth

  • 1 orange peel and star anise

  • 1 rosemary sprig, for garnish

Directions

  1. Directions for Infusion: Combine ingredients in a sealed jar and let sit for 12 to 24 hours, tasting after 6 hours. Strain out all spices before making the cocktail.
  2. Combine the spiced gin, Campari, and sweet vermouth in a mixing glass filled with ice.
  3. Stir for 20 to 30 seconds, until well-chilled and slightly diluted.
  4. Strain into a chilled lowball glass over fresh ice.
  5. Garnish by expressing the oils from the orange peel, and add a festive star anise or rosemary sprig.
