You can’t beat cinnamon sugar pretzels…unless you add candied almonds to the mix!
1/2 cup sugar
3 tablespoons cinnamon
3 tablespoons melted butter
2 cups almonds chopped
1/2 cup water
1 cup sugar
1/2 tablespoon cinnamon
1/2 tablespoon cardamom
In a bowl, combine sugar and cinnamon. Whisk together.
In a pot over medium heat, add 1 cup sugar, 1/2 cup water, 1/2 tablespoon cinnamon, and 1/2 tablespoon cardamom. Bring to a boil.
Once boiling, add chopped almonds. Stir until fully coated.
Pour onto a baking sheet and allow to cool before touching.
Melt the butter on the stovetop or in the microwave.
Using a brush, coat the pretzel in melted butter. Then, sprinkle on the cinnamon sugar and candied nuts.
